| Anja Borgstrom is a Northern California based artist and
yoga teacher. Ground Spirit Images represents her yoga inspired art and
allows her two careers to complement each other. 'Yoga Shakti-Gestures of
Awakening', 2003 and 2004 calendars and notecards published by Amber Lotus,
are her most recent art and yoga collaborations. The award winning book 'Yoga Poems, Lines to Unfold By' published by Stonebridge Press features poems by Leza Lowitz and ink brush illustrations by Anja. From 1997 to 2000 Anja exhibited at the Yoga Journal's Yoga, Mind, Spirit conference in Colorado. She shows her work regularly throughout the San Francisco bay area. Anja received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California in 1986, and graduated with high distinction. |
